Mr. Clifton Savage

Phone: (757) 951-3652
Short track racer and charity event organizer.

Clif may have only started racing at the age of 18, but the passion for racing has been there since he was 6 years old. Listening to races on the radio and after watching his father drive a Richard Petty Experience car at Disney Speedway Clif was hooked.

Clif started racing the Hampton Roads Kart Club division at Langley Speedway called the Pro Wing Champ Karts. Clif has had success in the series with 2 wins, numerous top-10s and highest points finish of 6th in 2010. Langley Speedway is home for Clif and while he may live in North Carolina he does come back to race when work permits.

Langley Speedway has a strong community of drivers and Clif used the potential at Langley to host a charity go kart race from 2010 to 2012 to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia.

With only one more year left in college, Clif is currently pursuing his Associate’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Clif plans to use the knowledge that he obtains in school to help him with his future in racing and most importantly his charity work. Clif looks for opportunities to partner with people in his community that want to host charity events, but do not have the time or the connections to make it all come together.

Over the winter of 2014, Clif is planning a few charity events for the 2015 race season to spread the word about several charities that he supports both in Virginia and North Carolina. The Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, and the Duchenne Awareness Day, community projects for raising awareness of dogs and cats that need help, and a partnership with local law enforcement's charities as well.
About Clif:
Look for Clif to make his way into the late model stock car scene in the next few years with plans to run a select number of ARCA races further down the road if Clif finds marketing partners that share his vision and values.
